Why self-publish?
Self-publishing allows the author to be in complete control of every step of the process. This includes the manuscript, formatting, approving all illustrations or stock photos, and print-on-demand resources.
Do you have payment plans?
Yes, we require a 50% deposit in order for work to begin on your book. Customizable payment plans are available
Will you own my book?
Once we have completed our project, your book will be 100% yours. Royalties are 100% yours as well.
What do I need to get started?
To get started, all you need is: The final, edited version of your book (A Word doc is fine)Your depositA desire to finally bring your book to life! Email Us! When you're ready, we're ready. Use the forms on this site to book a strategy call or request a quote. During the process, you will be involved and approve every step so the book will be just as you want by the end of the process.
Do I need an ISBN?
We do not provide ISBN Numbers. ISBNs are required, however, if you want your book to be available for online retailers, bookstores, and libraries. Golden Step Publishing suggests you purchase your own ISBN so that you own all of your work and the book can be available for retailers such as Amazon and BarnesandNoble.com.If you do not intend to sell your book and only plan to print copies to donate or give to family and friends, you may not need an ISBN. Amazon do have a free ISBN but we do not recommened this.
